We personally interview every candidate before they are recommended to you

Hay & Co. insists upon at least one, and frequently two, in-depth, face-to-face evaluation interviews with all finalist candidates before ever making recommendations to our clients.

You will receive not only resumes but also verbal evaluations of each candidate, specifying the technical, managerial and personal skill sets that are worthy of your consideration. 

We communicate, educate and collaborate

While talent acquisition is indeed a collaborative endeavor, we facilitate the entire process, including preparing you for productive candidate meetings and meaningful, comparable evaluations.

We check the details

Hay & Co. obtains a signed release authorizing us to conduct a thorough records check confirming education, credit rating, litigation and criminal records, as well as in-depth employment reference calls to previous employers.

It’s not over until the dust has settled

It is our standard practice to conduct a post-hire 90 day review on a 360° basis of expectations versus reality, meeting with the hiring executive and successful candidate to ensure on-the-job success.

Our fees relate to our efforts

We believe that executive search services should be billed like other professions, namely on a time and expense budget, agreed to by the consultant and client at the beginning of the search with monthly progress billing until completion.
